Festival of Faiths
Greetings! First and foremost and on behalf of the Festival’s Co-Chairs and Steering Committee, I want to THANK YOU you for your participation in our recent festival. We sincerely hope you enjoyed the event as much as we enjoyed having you there.
While this amazing gathering of our faith communities had so many qualitative benefits – the fellowship and the palpable sense of unity, the cultural enlightenment and the good will throughout,, some of its metrics include .. all increases over last year:
* 2,500 attendees * 26 faith communities representing 13 world religions * an estimated 350 worshipers at the Interfaith Devotional Observance * 88 exhibitors and 14 vendors * 14 musical performances by 150 performers * 100 “collaborative artists” contributing to the Beloved Community Interfaith Mural * And, an estimated 250 turbans were wrapped and given away and more than 1.500 meals served by the very generous members of Cincinnati’s Sikh Gurdwara!
Thank you, again, for your participation in the Festival and for your commitment to a Beloved Community, one grounded in and led by a diverse, inclusive, engaged and committed spiritual family.
For Co-Chairs Bishop Marvin F. Thomas Sr., Sandy Kaltman and Maria Munir, we are gratefully yours,
