Christmas Eve at All Saints, New Albany
By Cathy Bagot, Trinity, Newark
I attended the 10:30 Christmas Eve service at All Saints, New Albany. We arrived early enough to enjoy the prelude music. Drew Smith, the choir and musicians did a wonderful job of setting the tone for a joyful service. One of the highlights is getting to see the full creche — surely one of the most complete (expansive?) ones in the Diocese. Fr. Rob Rhodes preached and Fr. Jason Prati presided. One of my family members said she had never seen the censing of the altar before as an aerobic exercise; Fr. Jason is enthusiastic! All Saints is a wonderful, warm, inviting community where all are welcome.
